School canteens have the opportunity to be involved in the promotion of fruit and vegetables to the students and teachers during Fruit ‘n’ Veg Week. School canteens can support curriculum activities by providing nutritious meals and snacks throughout the week.
The WA School Canteen Association is offering a student passport challenge where students aim to complete as many tasks as possible on their passport. Students have the opportunity to receive a fun fabric frisbee for participating. Passports must be received by Friday 19 September 2008.
Canteens can offer their students and staff a cool combo meal dealduring Fruit ‘n’ Veg Week.
Enter this year’s school canteen competition (PDF 202KB) and win an electric wok and kitchen pack for your canteen. Two winning entries will be chosen – one each from a metro and a rural school. Entries close Friday 19 September 2008.
A free fruit and vegetable (PDF 84KB) offer, to the value of $60, is being offered to the first 200 schools to register before 29 August 2008.
